This week’s episode was action packed and full of revelations. The death at the end of the show didn’t much surprise me, but will prove for an interesting storyline for the rest of the show.
I loved how Rumpelstiltskin brought the candle out to snow as a means to save his life and kill Cora. The whole Rumple and Cora flashbacks were really awkward. I don’t like seeing him romantically involved with anyone but Belle. And for some reason their romantic interactions were just weird to watch. IT’s interesting how Snow Whites mother, Queen Eva, was so rude to Cora when they were young. It gives the idea that evil isn’t born, but made. That Cora wasn’t so evil originally; she was just pushed to be that way. I wonder what it was that made Eva change into the sweet lady she was to Snow White before her death. I’m kind of confused about how Emma has magic; I don’t understand the concept of who has magic and how they can get it.
I liked how they finally brought the original story of Rumpelstiltskin in with Cora and the gold thread. I’ve got to say I did not think that Snow was going to actually go through with killing Cora. The way she manipulated Regina into actually killing her own mother without knowing she was doing that, was genius. It was a different side of snow we’ve never seen, and of course she tried to stop Regina but failed. Regina is going to be back for vengeance in the following episodes, and it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out. Is Regina going to try to kill snow, or is she going to do something else to get her revenge. I hope we get to see some Rumple and Belle next episode, his phone call to her was so sweet! She seemed to be responding to it a bit; maybe it’ll help her remember.
